The incredible stories of character the media isn’t telling you about Mitt Romney.
About three weeks ago, Glenn asked TheBlaze to find the stories about Mitt Romney that the media isn’t telling and Americans should know. He was fed up with the pictures being painted about Romney through the mainstream media and campaign ads. In 2008 all conservatives really wanted was the media to research Barack Obama like they do everyone on the right. Is it too much to ask for the American people to know a little background information on the man they may elect to be their President.

The history being shown about Mitt Romney on the news has been so far from the truth and so insanely trivial that Glenn started to believe, “this guy is squeaky clean.”
“I asked my staff to go find the stuff on Romney, the good stuff,” Glenn explained. “Because if there is no bad stuff, I’ll bet you there’s good stuff out there that nobody’s telling the story on.”
As it was pointed out by a few at the RNC and became evident after Glenn’s staff began telling him the stories they were finding, Romney isn’t the kind of guy that likes to talk about the things he has done to help others. On Friday, Glenn is going to spend a full hour sharing the incredible stories his staff found. He will also be joined by some of the people whose lives were changed (for the better) by Mitt Romney, most of whom had never even met him.
This morning on radio Glenn gave a preview of what you can expect to see on Friday’s program. He shared a story of a V.A. hospital in Boston that Mitt Romney stopped at while on the campaign trail running against Ted Kennedy. Ted Kennedy had made a thirty minute top at the same location a couple of weeks prior.
After touring the V.A. hospital, Mitt asked to look at their books. After he spent forty minutes going through their books, he told them, “You run a very good place, very tight. Very good.” Romney asked to go on another tour of the hospital, and after spending an hour and forty minutes there, the last question he asked was, “So what… what do you ‑‑ what are you lacking? What do you need help with?”
The response? “Milk.”
Since the press was around, snapping photos and asking questions, Glenn explained that Romney did a really awkward joke where he said, “maybe we should teach everyone here how to milk a cow.”
Of course, that’s all the press cared to hear and ran with a story that claims “Mitt Romney says veterans should have to milks cows.”
“This is where it gets good,” Glenn started. “Romney calls him up the next morning.”
Romney first apologizes to the man who runs the hospital for any problems the attention from the press jumping on his words brought to the hospital. He next offers to help with the milks situation.
“Friday comes, and the milkman comes,” Glenn continues. “This is what the vets needed – they needed 7,000 pints of milk a week. Milkman shows up, 7,000 pints. The head of the V.A. hospital asks, “Where did all this come from?” He [the milkman] said “an anonymous donor.” Now, the guy didn’t put it together.”
Glenn explains that when the next week rolled around, the milkman shows up again, and continued to show up every week for two years. After two years of delivering 7,000 pints of milk a week to the hospital, as the milkman is retiring, the man finally gets him to reveal the anonymous donor.
It’s Mitt Romney.
“Mitt Romney was writing a personal check and didn’t want anybody to know for two years and provided the vets with all of their milk in Boston,” Glenn explained to listeners this morning.
When Romney became governor, he sent a bill through to help the V.A. hospital – it was down to the dollar. This man told Glenn, “if you want a mechanic on the economy? It’s this guy. He [Mitt Romney] went and he looked at the books first. He wanted to see what we were doing and how effective we were. He said then, beyond that, the milk. He did that and he didn’t want anything ‑‑ he didn’t want anyone to know.”
No one is telling America these stories – but Friday, Glenn will.
“The stories you’ll hear on Friday are incredible. Our people found them. And we didn’t send investigators. Nobody’s going through anybody’s garbage. We just started to look. And the stories we found, I’m telling you, I apologize to Mitt Romney and his family for being so blind and not seeing who he was. That does not mean I’m going to agree with all of his policies, but I am blind. I have been saying we need to find George Washington, a man of true character and honor and decency. When you watch the show on Friday, you will ‑‑ I’m convinced you will feel exactly the same way I do.”
This Friday on TheBlaze TV, Glenn will be joined by this man and many other to tell the stories about Mitt Romney the media won’t tell you – the stories you’ve been longing to hear about a politician in this country. Don’t miss it!

KNOW YE NOT THAT THERE ARE
MORE NATIONS THAN ONE?

At TheFamily.com we strive to share various ways of helping families become stronger and to take responsibility for their actions.
We do believe that family is the fundamental unit of society and that the Father and Mother need to teach their children to become self reliant and to live providently. Families need to be prepared for emergencies and make sure that physically, they have enough to eat and drink and can take care of any medical issues and needs without going to the store for a period of time should any emergencies arise.
Children should become stronger mentally with good education and to stay away from pornography and drugs. There is aggressive Spiritual Warfare going on today and members of the family need to know the difference between good and bad so they can choose wisely. Parents need to teach them values and correct principles so they understand the difference. Working hard and getting a good job besides being charitable is most important and learning to be kind and giving to those in need.
Time is the BEST thing you can give your children and spouse! We highly recommend an evening together as a family which has proven to make a big difference in many homes.
We encourage families set aside Monday night as “family home evening” to spend TIME with each other. This is a time and place for families to study the gospel together and to do other activities that strengthen the family by learning and sharing, to teach values and correct principles, to create family memories, and to increase unity and love.

The home is the most important place for learning and teaching children where they can SEE a sermon from their parents instead of just HEARING one; and where parents can develop a closer relationship with their greatest investment, their posterity!
No other organization can take the place of the family. Parents are to nurture their children with love and gospel teaching.
It is the perfect place to share personal and funny stories, one’s feelings and experiences with how parents dealt with issues that their children may be facing, and the best time to find their eternal relationship with God and their Savior Jesus Christ through family prayer together to prepare, spiritually.
We can promise you that this is what has helped keep our families stay so close together throughout these many years. Nothing can compensate for failure in the home. The BEST gift you can give to your children is your TIME!
The Lamb of God is the Savior of The World for All Families.

Forty days after His
Resurrection, Jesus and His Apostles were gathered together on the Mount of Olives. The time had come for Jesus to leave the earth. He had completed all the work that He had to do at that time. He was to return to our Heavenly Father until the time of His Second Coming.
What did Jesus do during those forty days? He visited “His other Sheep” … those of other nations!
“And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be onefold, and one shepherd.” John 10: 16
“Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?
Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is awitness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.
For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it.” 2 Ne. 29: 7-8, 12

And others!
“And the angel spake unto me, saying: These last records, which thou hast seen among the Gentiles, shall establish the truth of the first, which are of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, and shall make known the plain and precious things which have been taken away from them; and shall make known to all kindreds, tongues, and people, that the Lamb of God is the Son of the Eternal Father, and the Savior of the world; and that all men must come unto him, or they cannot be saved.” 1 Ne. 13: 40
“Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into ? this same Jesus, which is up from you into heaven, shall so in like as ye have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1: 11
The Bible and The Book of Mormon are available to us today.
The other records of Jesus will soon be forth coming.

Family Matters!
My brother Tom just sent me some copies of typed journal
notes that our mother, Olive D. Osmond had written.
I post these journal entries by Olive D. Osmond, as they share
my Mothers’ thoughts about

1. I think the thing that is important in raising a family is to always caution the family about the evils that are around all the time. My mother used to say, “You go with the best or nobody. Associate with the best people in town but nobody that drinks or smokes or carries on.”

2. Plan your time. Always have a day’s plan for activities. My Father always had a plan and used to have us make our plans, too. the first thing I had to do when I got home from school was practice the piano. We always had our meals on time, too, especially because my Father had to be to work on time. (He was a School Principal.)

3. Teach children to be honest. If they do something wrong, they should be honest about it.
I had a little trunk when I was a little girl. We had a cupboard close to the table where we kept our glass dishes. I was cleaning it out one day and discovered a dime on the top shelf. I thought it had been there for a long time so I took it and put it in my little trnk and didn’t say a word to anybody. One day my Mother said, “Bill, did yo take that dime?” No.” ”Dora?” ”No.” When she said, “Vera” I knew I was doomed. She said, “Vera, that dime was for a little boy for running an errand for me. I confessed I had taken it and bought some penny candy at the post office and put it in my trunk. I ate it all myself because I didn’t want anyone to know where I got it. I didn’t enjoy the candy and I didn’t enjoy the thought of being a “thief” either. When I told my Mother what I had done, she said, “Vera, don’t you ever take anything that doesn’t belong to you because your black eyes will give you away.” To this day I have never wanted a thing that belongs to anyone else.

4. I can remember going to peoples’ places where they were slapping and scolding their kids. I would run home and my Mother wold be working and singing to her babies and I thought, “Oh, heaven on earth!” Yet, she was a disciplinarian. When she assigned us something, she meant business. She just had a way with her -a quiet way-but we knew we had to obey. We never had much quarreling in our home. She used to say (when we wanted something0, “Look, there are the “haves” and the “have nots”. We happen to be the “have nots” and we’ll divide what we have with the whole family.
Family history is VERY important to our family.
It is the Number one hobby among all families!
Here is a book that we put together of
our grandparents.
