Brethren, if that is the case, I am looking tonight for men young and old who care enough about this battle between good and evil to sign on and speak up. We are at war, and I want to be a one-man recruiting station.”

“We Are All Enlisted”!  

“We are waiting now for soldiers; who’ll volunteer.”  Of course, the great thing about this call to arms is that we ask not for volunteers to fire a rifle or throw a hand grenade. No, we want battalions who will take as their weapons “every word that proceedeth forth from the mouth of God.”  So I am looking for missionaries who will not voluntarily bind their tongues but will, with the Spirit of the Lord and the power of their priesthood, open their mouths and speak miracles by which faith’s “mightiest works have been, and will be, performed.”

I ask for a stronger and more devoted voice, … a voice for good, a voice for the gospel, a voice for God.

The Lord said,

D&C  60:2  “But with some I am not well pleased, for they will not open their mouths, but they hide the talent which I have given unto them, because of the fear of man. Wo unto such, for mine anger is kindled against them.”

If we “Turn the World Around” . . . NOIZ will also “turn around” and spell ZION!  ”The happiest people that ever lived.”

• You can get arrested for expired tags on your car but not for being in the country illegally.

• Your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more of our money.

• The Supreme Court of the United States can rule that lower courts cannot display the 10 Commandments in their courtroom, while sitting in front of a display of the 10 Commandments.

• Children are forcibly removed from parents who appropriately discipline them while children of“underprivileged” drug addicts are left to rot in filth infested cesspools.

• Working class Americans pay for their own health care (and the health care of everyone else) while unmarried women are free to have child after child on the “State’s” dime while never being held responsible for their own choices.

• Hard work and success are rewarded with higher taxes and government intrusion, while slothful, lazy behavior is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid and subsidized housing.

• The government’s plan for getting people back to work is to provide 99 weeks of unemployment checks (to not work).

• Politicians think that stripping away the amendments to the constitution is really protecting the rights of the people.

• The rights of the Government come before the rights of the individual.

• Parents believe the State is responsible for providing for their children.

• You pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big screen TV while your neighbor defaults on his mortgage (while buying iphones, TV’s and new cars) and the government forgives his debt and reduces his mortgage (with your tax dollars).

• Being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you “safe”.

• You have to have your parents signature to go on a school field trip but not to get an abortion.

• An 80 year old woman can be stripped searched by the TSA but a Muslim woman in aburqa is only subject to having her neck and head searched.

  
  

  SO LET’S GET “NOIZ” (NOISY) AND TURN THIS COUNTRY AROUND!

I’ve been working with my friends to celebrate our freedoms and liberty of this great nation and preparing for a wonderful finale to our multiple week of patriotic events leading up to the 4th of July.  As a member of the board of trustees of America’s Freedom Foundation we produce many patriotic events and as citizens we spend time remembering how blessed we are as a nation when we turn our hearts to God and give thanks for those who gave their lives in defense of our freedoms!

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

GET YOUR TICKETS and have Fun, Fun, Fun, at Stadium of Fire where this year The Beach Boys share with us their 50th Year Celebration, American Idol and Country Star Scotty McCreery performs and M.C’d by singing sensation and new U. S. Citizen Alex Boye sings and presents at BYU’s Lavell Edwards Stadium with over 50,000 people.  It’s  our 32nd live and amazing patriotic production that lights the sky with its traditional spectacular and largest fireworks display ever!  I have had the privilege of creating this event 32 years ago and I can honestly tell you that it just keeps growing bigger and bigger and gets better and better each year!  Thousands of volunteers are responsible for making this effort come alive with a quarter of a million people watching in from within and just outside the stadium as well as millions watching it around the world on the Armed Forces Network!

This nation of America is a “promised land” and will be blessed as long as we remember those sacred covenants and promises that were made to God by our forefathers.  Covenants are two way promises and we cannot expect our God to continue to bless our nation if we forget to keep His commandments and to love one another in order to receive His blessings.

We celebrate our freedoms with courage and hope that this will happen and invite you and your families to  join us and “open your mouths” for freedom and GET  NOIZ (Noisy) for good!  If we do this we can help “turn the world around” for the better!  When  this happens, then even the word ‘NOIZ’ will turn around and then we will become ‘ZION’ . . . the happiest people in all the world!

HOW CAN WE HELP

“STRENGTHEN THE FAMILY“?

Several followers of TheFamily.com have sent us emails, given blog comments and text messages in response to the question: “How Can We Help Strengthen The Family“.

Here are some things that various followers have submitted that we as families need to address and fix:

-       “We need to be rescued from the world and from ourselves…we let ourselves get caught in the things of the world far too often…things that don’t really matter.

-       “please get people to “listen” more…”

-       “I would say the influence of tv & media, especially on our children.

-       “people living on the streets debt and losses of jobs “

-       ” alan why dont u put in your talk  about when a person u love pass away “

-       Put mom back in the home with a dad that goes to work.  That will save families.

-       “There are so many alcoholics and drug addicts out there with families.

-       I believe there needs to be at least one parent home with the kids like the “old” days and that’s when neighbors kept close watch on everybody’s kids also.  There also needs to be “family meal together” at least once a day.  I know I’m dreamin!”

-       “how about putting god back in schools”

-       Too many people are seeking more for wealth and fame in this life than they are things of an eternal nature, consequently the ruination of family life.”

-       “how about just getting back to the basic’s, God, Family,& Country.”

-       when I was growing up I had to eat with my family..that was a must and I learned so much.  We talked about school, what happened at work, and my uncle who lived with us was so creative.

-       “We need to stop telling our children that the only person who will look out for them is themselves.

-       “lack of respect for ourselves (womenhood)  and others…..

-       The importance of a mothers role within the home has diminished.

-      Talk about the actual ailment itself. Symptoms include aabandonment, abuse, addictions, arrogance, cruelty, disease, dishonesty, divorce, ignorance, infidelity, neglect, pornography, weakness. All of these are symptoms of FEAR which fills the spaces where the Spirit withdraws. It’s our alienation from God that leaves us sick and broken. The only cure is pure love & God is the only Source.

-       Alan, if I were you, rather than list all the symptoms of fear that destroy families, I would focus on all the signs of pure LOVE that heal them, things like compassion, empathy, honesty, humility, kindness, loyalty, self-mastery, strength, wisdom, etc. That’s a message I would love to hear. “

-       “We have to stop eating our meals separately and dine together as a family…so important!  Also…we must be rescued from silence…parents and children have to talk about a lot things on a variety of levels.

-       “the use of foul language being encouraged as normal”

-       “skewed priorities.  Like putting money at the top.”

-       I love the the LDS has family nights.  All familiys should try it.

-       “I would say the divorce rate!

2012 is almost here and we need to make some NEW YEARS” RESOLUTIONS to help “TURN THE WORLD AROUND”!!!

Scriptures teach us, “But with some I am not well pleased, for they will not open their mouths, but they hide the talent which I have given unto them, because of the fear of man. Wo unto such, for mine anger is kindled against them.” D&C 60: 2

I have been pondering and praying to know what I could do to help “Turn the World Around” as there is so much wickedness, and troubled times that we and our families are facing right now! When have you ever seen so much lack of order and dishonest behavior and conduct where those basic principles and values that we all grew up with are so challenged as it is today?

So, I decided to “GET NOI-Z and put out a NEWSLETTER to help remind us all and motivate us to STAND UP, SPEAK OUT, and to MAKE GOOD CHOICES in order to protect and survive this wonderful world of ours!  I NEED YOUR HELP!  WILL YOU JOIN ME AND HELP ME?

First of all, Let’s make some NEW YEAR”S RESOLUTIONS to spend more time with The Family!

Second, lets KEEP the COMMANDMENTS, especially the Second one which says, “Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself!  So, let’s reach out and LOVE THE NEIGHBOR!

Our Prophets from the beginning of time with scriptures have foretold the outcome of this world with the cleansing of all wickedness and the second coming of the Lord. To be prepared for His coming, there are signs of the times that will take place and the Lord has told us all to warn our neighbor!

“D&C 88: 81 “Behold, I sent you out to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to warn his neighbor.”

Acts 3: 19-21

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
