They can be as simple as helping someone in need, showing some kindness, writing a thank you note, or even counting your blessings.

Besides the value such thoughts and actions have in themselves, scientists affirm that they can also “serve as an effective, low-cost treatment for depression.”1 These simple, everyday actions can have a profound influence on how we feel about ourselves, others, and life in general. They require no doctor’s prescription, have no negative side effects, and most often cost nothing more than a little time and effort—and a bit of your heart.
Yet, as we all know, common sense is not always common practice. We may be so focused on our own problems that it seems difficult—even impossible—to think of others or do for others in any meaningful way. So start small.

  • Learn and teach my family and grandkids all of the things that are most important to do in this life so that they can Choose to do them or Not!  At least they will know what they are!  They will come from Jesus’s words from the scriptures and from the Prophets that God  ordained to speak in behalf of The Lord.
  • I am going to live as bestI can the scripture given to us from the Lord Jesus to our Prophet for us which is found here:                  D&C 109: 8 “Organize yourselves; aprepare every needful thing, and establish a house, even a bhouse of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of corder, a dhouse of God;
  • Also this scripture:  D&C 88: 124 Cease to be aidle; cease to be bunclean; cease to cfind fault one with another; cease to dsleep longer than is needful; retire to thy bed earlythat ye may not be weary;arise earlythat your bodies and your minds may be einvigorated.
  • I am going to continue to set my mind upon the fact that, “You become what you think about”…and get better with my M.S..
  • I want to get a “Fit Attack” instead of a “Heart Attack” by exercising and remembering the words to this song I wrote, “Get A Fit Attack”!  Yes, my sons recorded it for me!
