Life is T.U.F.F. (Tough)!
We are living in a “T.U.F.F.” world. (Spelling? I will explain!)
Yes, life can but tough but there are ‘OPPOSITES IN ALL THINGS‘. (up-down, right-left, light-dark, male-female, good-bad,etc.)
It is ALSO a WONDERFUL WORLD!
When times get tough, which they are, we get T.U.F.F. and work our way out of any challenges.
You see, I have had M.S. for over 28 years. When I first got it, I decided that I would get T.U.F.F. and win the fight! How? I created this personal slogan:
T. “Target” your challenge.
U. “Understand” everything about it.
F. “Focus”. Don’t ‘Shotgun’ it, but ‘Rifle in on it.
F. “Fight”. You MUST fight for what you want.
Most everyone I know today faces ‘T.U.F.F.’ financial challenges. We have found a WAY to help others become financially strong and independent.
Go to: Osmond.net and watch the short video. If you can relate and are interested, CONTACT US!
WE WILL SCHEDULE A TIME TO SHOW YOU HOW!

When We Die
“Now, repentance could not come unto men
except there were a punishment,
which also was eternal as the life of the soul should be,
affixed opposite to the plan of happiness,
which was as eternal also as the life of the soul.”

What It’s Like To Be Old
I am so thankful that I got MS. It has taught me many important things I couldn’t have learned otherwise and brought me home to my sweet wife Suzanne.
It has allowed me to be with my wife, 8 sons, 7 daughters-in-law, and our 25 grandkids.
I have had more time to do the things I enjoy, to be a publisher of peace by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to have served 10 years in the temple or house of the Lord, and to be around my grandkids as a good grandpa should!
In talking to others of my age, I often hear of their heartaches, bad choices, wishing they could go back, desires to be and act young, bitter attitudes, and of course the positive who are grateful to be alive along with some wonderful memories they have had.
As I keep working and trying to help Strengthen Families and help others to become self reliant, toxic free, and financially secure . . . , I still enjoy writing write and lyrics/poems.
I share one that came to me last night that deals with . . .
“What It’s Like To Be Old”.
“Wherefore, children shall grow up until they become old;
old men shall die; but they shall not sleep in the dust,
but they shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye.”

Be Perfect In All Things
In these last days it’s as if a tug boat . . . is
pulling out to sea . . . the
hearts of all our children . . our
future and posterity . . . to
drown in filth and wickedness . . . where no
truth and light can be found. Why
aren’t we sounding the sirens . . . is there no
doctor to be found? What the
Evil one’s been doing . . he secretly
designed before this world began . . where
all God’s children had gathered to hear about a
physical life . . called The Plan.
There was One who stood forth and was willing . . . to
lead all and show us The Way . . . to
return back home to Father . . . and for our
sins the price he would pay.
We are here and living the last chapter . . .
in the book of life. The keys to
open the doors of heaven are before us . . if we
seek to choose the right.
Signs of the times are upon us . . . with the
separation of the wheat and tares.
Who will endure with oil in their lamps . . . when the
Lord returns again and appears?
…And when we reflect also, that he has called us to be perfect in all things,
that we may be prepared to meet him in peace when he comes in his glory
with all the holy angels, we feel to exhort our brethren with boldness,
to be humble and prayerful, to walk indeed as children of the light
and of the day, that they may have grace to withstand every temptation,
and to overcome every evil in the worthy name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For be assured brethren, that the day is truly near when the Master
of the house will rise up and shut the door, and none but such as have on
a wedding garment will be permitted to enjoy a seat at the marriage supper!
“Yea, a voice crying—Prepare ye the way of the Lord,
prepare ye the supper of the Lamb,
make ready for the Bridegroom.”

For A Wise Purpose!
“And I do this for a wise purpose; for thus it whispereth me,
according to the workings of the Spirit of the Lord which is in me.
And now, I do not know all things;
but the Lord knoweth all things which are to come;
wherefore, he worketh in me to do according to his will.”
Words of Mormon 1:7
We now know why The Book of Mormon
was written “for a wise purpose”.
About 600 B.C. in Jerusalem there lived a man named Lehi who with his family was told by God that Jerusalem was to be destroyed, which it was. He and his family were directed to leave Jerusalem and go to “a promised land”. They were to first secure “The Plates of Laban” which contained the first five Books of the Old Testament, and to leave their belongings and travel into the wilderness where they would be shown how to build a ship. When completed, they would be directed to that “promised land” in North America which we know today as The United States of America, the promised land.
(As recorded in Second Nephi Chapter four of The Book of Mormon,
Lehi counsels and blesses his posterity.)
(Notes in parenthesis are to help the reader with these scriptures.)
(Lehi is recorded as speaking to his son Joseph.)
1 And now I speak unto you, Joseph, my last-born. Thou wast born in the wilderness of mine afflictions; yea, in the days of my greatest sorrow did thy mother bear thee.
2 And may the Lord consecrate also unto thee this land, which is a most precious land, for thine inheritance and the inheritance of thy seed with thy brethren, for thy security forever, if it so be that ye shall keep the commandments of the Holy One of Israel.
4 For behold, thou art the fruit of my loins; and I am a descendant of Joseph who was carried captive into Egypt. And great were the covenants of the Lord which he made unto Joseph.
5 Wherefore, Joseph truly saw our day. And he obtained apromise of the Lord, that out of the fruit of his loins the Lord God would raise up a righteous branch unto the house of Israel; not the Messiah, but a branch which was to be broken off, nevertheless, to be remembered in the covenants of the Lord that the Messiah should be made manifest unto them in the latter days, in the spirit of power, unto the bringing of them out ofdarkness unto light—yea, out of hidden darkness and out of captivity unto freedom.
6 For Joseph truly testified, saying: A seer shall the Lord my God raise up, who shall be a choice seer unto the fruit of my loins.
7 Yea, Joseph truly said: Thus saith the Lord unto me: A choice seer will I raise up out of the fruit of thy loins; and he shall be esteemed highly among the fruit of thy loins. And unto him will I give commandment that he shall do a work for the fruit of thy loins, his brethren, which shall be of great worth unto them, even to the bringing of them to the knowledge of the covenants which I have made with thy fathers.
8 And I will give unto him a commandment that he shall do none other work, save the work which I shall command him. And I will make him great in mine eyes; for he shall do my work.
9 And he shall be great like unto Moses, whom I have said I would raise up unto you, to deliver my people, O house of Israel.
10 And Moses will I raise up, to deliver thy people
out of the land of Egypt.
11 But a seer will I raise up out of the fruit of thy loins; and unto him will I give power to bring forth my word (The Book of Mormon) unto the seed of thy loins—and not to the bringing forth my word only, saith the Lord, but to the convincing them of my word, which shall have already gone forth among them. (The Bible)
12 Wherefore, the fruit of thy loins shall write (The Book of Mormon); and the fruit of the loins of Judah shall write (The Bible); and that which shall be written (The Book of Mormon) by the fruit of thy loins, and also that which shall be written by the fruit of the loins of Judah, (The Bible) shall grow together, unto the confounding of false doctrines and laying down of contentions, and establishing peace among the fruit of thy loins, and bringingthem to the knowledge of their fathers in the latter days, and also to the knowledge of my covenants, saith the Lord.
13 And out of weakness he shall be made strong, in that day when my work shall commence among all my people, unto the restoring thee, (The restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ) O house of Israel, saith the Lord.
14 And thus prophesied Joseph, saying: Behold, that seer will the Lord bless; and they that seek to destroy him shall be confounded; for this promise, which I have obtained of the Lord, of the fruit of my loins, shall be fulfilled. Behold, I am sure of the fulfilling of this promise;
15 And his name (Joseph Smith) shall be called after me (Joseph of Egypt); and it shall be after the name of his father (Joseph Smith Sr.). And he shall be like unto me; for the thing, which the Lord shall bring forth by his hand, by the power of the Lord shall bring my people unto salvation.
16 Yea, thus prophesied Joseph: I am sure of this thing, even as I am sure of the promise of Moses; for the Lord hath said unto me, I will preserve thy seed forever.
17 And the Lord hath said: I will raise up a Moses; and I will give power unto him in a rod; and I will give judgment unto him in writing. Yet I will not loose his tongue, that he shall speak much, for I will not make him mighty in speaking. But I will write unto him my law, by the finger of mine own hand ; and I will make a spokesman for him.
18 And the Lord said unto me also: I will raise up unto the fruit of thy loins; and I will make for him a spokesman. And I, behold, I will give unto him that he shall write the writing of the fruit of thy loins, unto the fruit of thy loins; and the spokesman of thy loins shall declare it.
19 And the words which he shall write shall be the words which are expedient in my wisdom should go forth unto the fruit of thy loins. And it shall be as if the fruit of thy loins had cried unto them from the dust; for I know their faith.
20 And they shall cry from the dust ; yea, even repentance unto their brethren, even after many generations have gone by them. And it shall come to pass that their cry shall go, even according to the simpleness of their words.
21 Because of their faith their words shall proceed forth out of my mouth unto their brethren who are the fruit of thy loins; and the weakness of their words will I make strong in their faith, unto the remembering of my covenant which I made unto thy fathers.
22 And now, behold, my son Joseph, after this manner did my father of old prophesy.
23 Wherefore, because of this covenant thou art blessed; for thy seed shall not be destroyed, for they shall hearken unto the words of the book.
24 And there shall rise up one mighty among them, who shall do much good, both in word and in deed, being an instrument in the hands of God, with exceeding faith, to work mighty wonders, and do that thing which is great in the sight of God, unto the bringing to pass much restoration unto the house of Israel, and unto the seed of thy brethren.
25 And now, blessed art thou, Joseph. Behold, thou art little; wherefore hearken unto the words of thy brother, Nephi, and it shall be done unto thee even according to the words which I have spoken. Remember the words of thy dying father. Amen.
I testify that these things are true. I know that the one of the purposes of the Book of Mormon was to be another witness that Jesus is The Christ and Savior of all mankind; that Jesus is our Shepherd and Savior of ALL MANKIND around the world; that we are among the “…other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” John 10:16
We also know that during the days of Constantine and the Nicene Creed, about 325-400 AD, many precious parts and lost books that were taken out of the Bible.
When The Bible AND the Book of Mormon are both read and considered together as one, the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all of its precious parts will make more sense and those confusing parts of the gospel because of those “precious parts that were taken away” become more clear as Jesus intended. We look forward to even MORE records of Jesus Christ that were also recorded and are yet to come forth but which have been hidden from the world for a “wise purpose” of the Lord.
I invite everyone from all faiths to get a FREE copy of The Book of Mormon and read it for yourself. It is the history of the descendants of Lehi’s family or those so called “natives” that Columbus said came out to greet him with gifts when he first landed in America. The native descendants thought Columbus was the “return of that bearded white God”, even Jesus Christ, who promised them that He would once again return. This will help you to understand the things that we have in common with many Christian Churches.
Yes, Jesus Christ visited Lehi’s descendants in the Heartland of North America after He was crucified. His appearance and those things which he said are recorded in The Book of Mormon. Before Jesus Christ returns once again, this world will go through a cleansing of the wicked which is also recorded in The Book of Mormon. Therein also lies “a wise purpose” as scriptures warn us those things which we must do to be preserved.

Can You Feel A Gathering Starting To Happen
By Alan Osmond
“And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent,
which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up and
set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more,
till the thousand years should be fulfilled;
and after that he must be loosed a little season.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them,
and judgment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

During These Troubled Times…
‘Stick To The Ship Of ZION’
“Stick to the ship of Zion.”
(The word Zion has various meanings in the scriptures. The most general definition of the word is “the pure in heart” (D&C 97:21).
If boats come to the side, showing beautiful colors and making wonderful promises, do not get off the ship to go to the shore on any other boat; but keep on the ship. If you are badly used by any of those that are on the ship, who have not got the proper spirit, remember the ship itself is all right.
We should not allow our minds to become soured because of anything that the people on the ship may do to us; the ship is all right, and the officers are all right, and we will be right if we stick to the ship. I can assure you it will take you right into the land of glory”.
So it is with the Holy Scriptures and those truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Like our latter-day Prophets, I feel that in these last days we are advancing and receiving higher learning and education. We are advancing to a higher condition and sphere and to a higher plane, and we are receiving such an education that the wisdom of the world with all its attainments and false doctrines and principles will have no effect upon the true believers, for they are rising above the theories and hypothesis of human inventions and soaring in things of truth that raise the mind, exalt the understanding, and establishing them[selves] more and more fully in the true principles of life and glory. We are filled in our hearts with these truths and we cannot tell the day or the hour in which our faith has been increased, but we feel, when we look back over the last week, month or year, that we have increased in faith and in the knowledge of faith and power of God; we know that we have become nearer to our God, our Father.
Every man and woman has got to learn to stand upon his/her own knowledge; he or she cannot depend upon his neighbor; each must be independent; must depend upon his and her God entirely. It depends upon yourself to see if you will stem the tide of trouble and overcome the impediments that are strewn in the pathway of life to prevent your progress. You can get information by the operations of the Holy Spirit, and you make approaches to God which increases your faith in proportion as to your diligence. It is impossible to advance in the principles of truth, to increase in heavenly knowledge, [unless] we exercise our reasoning faculties and exert ourselves in a proper manner.
It is just so in regard to matters that pertain to the things of God. We have to exert ourselves and go from grace to grace, to get the law of action so incorporated in our systems, that it may be natural to do those things that are required of us.
As we dig deep into the things of God and remain faithful, our religion becomes a part of our being. Never before has so much wickedness resided upon the earth. We need more than ever to be filled with more knowledge of spiritual things!
Beware! I know of nothing Satan uses quite so cunningly or cleverly in his work on a young man or woman in your present circumstances. I speak of doubt—especially self-doubt—of discouragement, and of despair. In our lives, individually and collectively, there surely are serious threats to our happiness. Remember, “Trouble has no necessary connection with discouragement— discouragement has a germ of its own.”
If you are trying hard to live right and things still seem burdensome and difficult, take heart. Others have walked that way before you. Always remember when you pray, to ask for that which you desire. The has Lord told us, “Ask and ye shall receive.” “Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” But, getting answers to your prayers first requires you to do your part in studying and pondering upon those things in which you are seeking answers.
“Behold, you have not understood; you have supposed that I would give it unto you when you took no thought, save it was to ask me; but, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you,” etc. D&C 9
Truth never changes. Those of the adversary may mock and belittle those who are believers who stand for that which they believe, but when we are on the Lord’s side, regardless of numbers or worldly power, we are in the majority!
I testify that the truths which we believe are still true today and “They that be with us are more than they that be with them”. 2 Kings. 6:16
“Choose you this day whom ye will serve: … but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua. 24:15

At The End Of The Road
“And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider
on the blessed and happy state of those that keep
the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in
all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they
hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven,
that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of

that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.”

and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
