We all have our free agency and God holds us accountable for the way we use it in thought and deed. "Kindness, compassion, and love are powerful instruments in strengthening us to carry heavy burdens imposed without any fault of our own and to do what we know to be right." Elder Dallin H. Oaks

“Having been born of goodly parents”, I was blessed to be the third member of a family of eight sons and one daughter of George and Olive Osmond. We grew up in the town of Ogden, Utah with fond memories of a wonderful family life.
My Mother, Olive, was so kind and tender as she nurtured us children. She love to cook and taught us music in a most wonderful and loving home. Her parents were both educators and my mother would have been too, but she fulfilled her first priority and married my father and had a large family. Because she loved education, she asked my father to build a schoolroom in the attic of our home where she used her skills as a teacher and theologian to teach us children many truths.
My Father was my hero and my role model. We called him “Father” out of respect and I wanted to be like him when I grew up. I was by his side when he built, plumbed, wired, and remodeled homes as a great carpenter. I watched him and was by his side when he milked cows, hauled hay, irrigated the orchard and fields, or as we stamped and packaged postal items at the post office that he had. Father also loved to sing. I sat behind him while he was driving the car and as we sang together, he would sing in harmony with Mother. That was how I learned to sing harmony. Learning that skill truly impacted my life. Father taught me how to fish, to hoe sugar beets and how to drive the tractor and haul hay. He always involved my brothers and me in his work projects and led by example. He always stood by us when the going got tough or was challenging. You see, Father had been an army sergeant and knew how to lead men. Several evidences of that training showed up in how he raised our sister Marie and us eight boys.
One example of that was when we got older and our home needed more bedrooms. Father decided to build on to the back of our house and built what he called, a dormitory. Yes, you are right, it was like an army barrack with seven military metal framed army cots and blankets, foot lockers at the end of the beds, and open closets where our clothes needed to be neatly hung and arranged as there where regular inspections that occurred. He knew how to lead and train military men in the army so like them, Father taught us in many of the same ways and how to have order. Some neighbors had asked him if the way he was raising his kids wasn’t ‘regimentation’. He would just smile and respond back saying; “I look at it as organization.”
I remember many times when he helped friends by serving them. My Father and Mother were always doing things to help others. They started the Osmond Foundation to raise money for deaf children, two of which were my older brothers. This was a pattern of my father and I wanted to be like him, “Like Father, Like Son.” He was a hard worker and organizer and gave freely of his time in headed up several fundraising projects within the church and the community.
Like my father, I too, found and married the most wonderful girl in the world, Suzanne Pinegar, and she is my eternal partner. Suzanne has blessed me with eight wonderful sons. As a father, I tried to raise them the best I knew.
I can look back and see a parallel in many of the same ways and traditions that I learned from my father. Those patterns and traditions of life now exist among us as a family with our sons and their families. Yes, they honor me and call me Father and they have learned to work hard and to never give up. Yes, they also love
music and have excelled in it masterfully. I told them to get “real jobs” and they did get good educations with a love to learn. Yes, they love the out of doors like I did as a son and are all Eagle Scouts. Seven of them so far have served full time missions and have returned and married. Yes, they grew up in a home with respect, order, good cooking, love, and with religious convictions that honors our Lord Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. We learn from Jesus’s example that even what He did, was as His Father has done; “Like Father, like Son”.
This Father’s Day, I reflect back on my father’s life and how much he showed me by example the way to be and to become. He taught us to be positive and to never give up when we were challenged and would say, “You can do it”. He also taught us that “You can be what you want to become, if you become what you want to be.” He was hard working yet a righteous man with a tender “marshmallow” heart”, as my mother would say, as he blessed his family and took us all to church. He served in the bishopric and held several other church callings in which he blessed others. We never had a meal together without first having a word of prayer and giving thanks and blessing the food. We always had family prayer at night and even before every show that my family and I did later when we became entertainers. When major decisions were made, we would counsel with the Lord together in kneeling family prayer seeking inspiration and giving thanks. This was the way we grew up because it was the way he did.
I remember the day my mother passed away and which was a hard thing and then not long after that when my father died. It is not easy to see them go but it is those times when the knowledge of that they had taught us gave us the understanding that we would live again and be with them. When my Father died, I was the first one to be by his side. I saw him lying cold and still on his bed. His body was there but my Father’s spirit wasn’t. I shed some tears and held his hand as I offered a prayer of gratitude to my Heavenly Father. I thanked Him for giving me the greatest earthly father I could ever have and for the good man that he was. It was then that I honestly started to smile as I knew he was now once again with my Mother in the Spirit world. I looked at him and said, “Father, save me a place, up there.”
Some day, I too, will graduate and do as my Father, my Savior, and my God have done, and live on eternally. ”Like Father, Like Son”.
Now that Suzanne and I are back home from our Mounds Tour, we have put together and share some photos of what we saw and share what we felt as we visited many impressive mound sites with evidence of a righteous people that dates back to 600 BC to 400 AD.
The Hopewell peoples were Native American Indians who lived about 2,200 and 1,500 years ago and were recognized as the architects and builders of the mounds.
Here is an mound thought to belong to the Adena culture because of its conical shape and the character of the burials to have been found within it. We believe it to of the the Jaredite Nation because of the early history dating.
As we continue toward Newark, you’ll discover that this area is filled with the most extensive and monumental earthworks in the world, including the Great Circle and Great Octagon, built by the Hopewell Civilization. They date between 150 AD and 250 AD, during the peaceful time following Christ’s visit. Scientists have recently discovered embedded astronomical alignments proving this was a highly advanced civilization. You’ll have a chance to ascend the 30 foot embankments and walk the ‘place of entrance’ of the Great Circle. You’ll learn more as we discuss the ancient Hopewell Mound Builder civilization that inhabited this area during Book of Mormon times. The Hopewell mounds were more elaborate and bigger than that of the Adenas. Hence, their alternate name, the Mound Builders. These mounds were constructed for burials, for symbolism, temple foundations, or for platforms for mounds built atop the original mounds. Sacred religious ceremonies took place here and some believe the earthworks symbolism reflects God’s Plan of Life.
The Hopewell Indians were skillful artisans, and left behind a legacy of ornamentation. Like the Adena, they constructed burial mounds. They also made pearl necklaces, and a diverse collection of jewelry, some of copper. They cultivated corn; and continued to hunt and gather and cultivate other food like their predecessors.
These earthen mounds and embankments outlining huge geometric enclosures which dot the landscape of the Ohio River Valley. These monumental structures were the work of many Native American hands nearly 2000 years ago. Hopewell people gathered at these major earthwork centers seasonally (during passover) and for important religious occasions with rituals and rites of passage in these sacred spaces which reflect upon the lives of these American Indians.
They were also used for feasting, trading, presenting gifts, marriages, competition, funerals with mourning ceremonies, an of course, mound construction. Tools and ornaments used in and worn for these occasions were often made of copper, silver, gold, obsidian, sharks teeth and sea shells and mica. These have been found under the mounds.
In our opinion, the Hopewell Indians fit the history from the Book of Mormon whose people left Jerusalem around 600 BC. and came to “the promised land” (America) existing until 400 AD. Here is some art found on stone of a hand with the “all seeing eye”, which is definitely Hebrew.
Apparently, “culture in the eastern woodlands went into a dark age for 200 years,” according to Tom Sherman, author of Place on the Glacial Till.’ The Hopewell Indians had an extensive culture spreading far beyond Ohio.
We went to a mound that was 30+ feet tall. Alan wanted to climb it but couldn’t because of his MS. Friends Rod and Van took Alan under his arms and said, “You are going to go up there if we have to carry you!” Alan agreed and they made it to the top and in the center with the rest of the group!
There is the world famous Serpent Mound with its mysterious coils forming astronomical alignments. It was formed in the shape of a snake with a head. To us, this confirms that the Native Americans were not as they were typed, “Savages” but astronomers and that they followed the lunarcalendar which is a part of their Mosaic Law.
The largest city in North America before European settlement was Cahokia, just outside of St. Louis. The museum is world class but the magnitude of Monks Mound, the largest earthen temple mound structure in North America is awe inspiring. It took some effort but Alan and Suzanne had the courage to climb this tallest temple mound in America. It is flat on top where they surely had a temple.
They Made It!
The last place we saw on the Mounds tour before we went to Nauvoo, Illinois, was a beautiful area which fits perfectly with where The Book of Mormon refers to The Waters of Mormon. Hundreds of thousands of gallons of fresh spring water flows daily from the mountain to where they baptized several who had converted to Christianity.
Last but not least was a stop in Nauvoo, Illinois to see where Joseph Smith was tarred and feathered, jailed, martyred, shot and fell from the upper window, and then burried in Nauvoo.
These mounds, artwork, museum refrences, etc., that I showed here were NOT found by members of our Latter-day Saint faith. These are actually located in the Heartland of America. We personally believe these people could very well be the decendents of Joseph who was sold into Egypt and are of the House of Israel. Some people have struggled in not being able to locate the Book of Mormon Evidence necessary to totally believe the truthfulness of The Book of Mormon. We believe it could be here because by living the Mosaic Law, they had to live by the lunar calendar. Also, there are sheep, barley and other necessary requirements for the Mosaic Law to be lived that they don’t have in South America.
We know the Book of Mormon is true, even if these sites prove not to be! Time or our Prophet will tell. We only share these things for those who wish to know that there are answers and evidence to back up what Joseph Smith translated from those gold plates which he was shown in the Hill Cumorah known as the Book of Mormon. We hope you will go and see these sites for yourselves, read The Book of Mormon and ask God if these things are not true.

After breakfast this morning Suzanne and I joined Rod Meldrum and our tour group and got on board our motor coach and wound our way south first stopping at Flint Bridge where saw where the Native Americans got their flint to make their arrow heads, and other sharp edged tools.
We then went to the the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum in Coshocton, Ohio. This museum houses the famous “Holy Stones”, found in a Hopewell mound near Newark, Ohio. These stones, inscribed with ancient Hebrew writings, demonstrate a North American connection to the Old World. READ MORE!
.
This carved stone was found ing the stone box (behind left and right) and has Ancient Hebrew writings on it. It says Moses, and has the Ten Commandments inscribed! Remember, it was found in the Ohio.
This is an important ‘keystone’ that was also found.
As we continued back on the bus towards Newark, we discovered that this area was filled with the most extensive and monumental earthworks in the world, including the Great Circle and Great Octagon, built by the Hopewell Civilization.
Suzanne drove me on a golf cart as this area is several football fields in area!
They date it between 150 AD and 250 AD, during the peaceful time following Jesus Christ’s visit to America after His crucifixion. Scientists have recently discovered embedded astronomical alignments proving this was a highly advanced civilization. I watched Suzanne and others ascend the 30 foot embankments and walk the ‘place of entrance’ of the Great Circle as I rode my motor cart following right behind, due to my having M.S.. But, I stayed up with them. I learned a lot about our early history of this country as we discussed the ancient Hopewell Mound Builder civilization that inhabited this area during Book of Mormon times.
This is a survey back in 1860 of the Newark Earthworks.
We took pictures, had great conversations with Rod Meldrum about these ancient earthworks, and went to dinner only to keep talking about what we had seen with our own eyes. There is a golf course adjacent to these earthworks and I asked a young man if I could hire him to drive me over to some of the mounds that surrounded the area. I asked him what he thought about these earthworks and he said, ” I don’t know much about it. I just know that in the spring, the Native Americans come here and do something. We just let them do it.” I told him that they celebrate the day of passover that the Jewish people recognize but in remembrance of the day when Creator appeared to them. I then asked him a question which I ask all of you who are reading this:
Did the Book of Mormon take place in America’s “Heartland?” From the Garden of Eden to Adam-ondi-Ahman; from the restoration of the gospel to the building of the New Jerusalem – the Heartland of North America has been the setting for sacred and significant events throughout human history.
New research involving Book of Mormon prophecies, Joseph Smith’s historical writings, DNA, archaeology, anthropology, metallurgy, horticulture, climate indicators, voyage routes, geography, astronomy, and symbology point to the very real possibility that the people and places of the Book of Mormon occurred in the Mississippi and Ohio River valleys.
Secular evidence continues to mount that the Book of Mormon may have occurred in the Heartland of North America. This new research Is offering unprecedented answers to critics of the Book of Mormon and its coming forth from non-LDS sources. Learn more about why this research is so compelling.
Below are links to recent news and articles exploring what is now being called “The Heartland Model Geography” for the Book of Mormon. You can also access their latest newsletters by visiting the ARCHIVE.
“And if our plates had been sufficiently large we should have written in Hebrew; but the Hebrew hath been altered by us also; and if we could have written in Hebrew, behold, ye would have had no imperfection in our record.”Mormon 9:33

Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease.
MS is Thought to be an Autoimmune Disease
The body’s own defense system attacks myelin, the fatty substance that surrounds and protects the nerve fibers in the central nervous system. The nerve fibers themselves can also be damaged. The damaged myelin forms scar tissue (sclerosis), which gives the disease its name. When any part of the myelin sheath or nerve fiber is damaged or destroyed, nerve impulses traveling to and from the brain and spinal cord are distorted or interrupted, producing the variety of symptoms that can occur.
Most people with MS learn to cope with the disease and continue to lead satisfying, productive lives.
The Four Courses of MS
People with MS can typically experience one of four disease courses, each of which might be mild, moderate, or severe.
People with this type of MS experience clearly defined attacks of worsening neurologic function. These attacks—which are called relapses, flare-ups, or exacerbations —are followed by partial or complete recovery periods (remissions), during which no disease progression occurs. Approximately 85% of people are initially diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS.
This disease course is characterized by slowly worsening neurologic function from the beginning—with no distinct relapses or remissions. The rate of progression may vary over time, with occasional plateaus and temporary minor improvements. Approximately 10% of people are diagnosed with primary-progressive MS.
Secondary-Progressive MS Following an initial period of relapsing-remitting MS, many people develop a secondary-progressive disease course in which the disease worsens more steadily, with or without occasional flare-ups, minor recoveries (remissions), or plateaus. Before the disease-modifying medications became available, approximately 50% of people with relapsing-remitting MS developed this form of the disease within 10 years. Long-term data are not yet available to determine if treatment significantly delays this transition.
In this relatively rare course of MS (5%), people experience steadily worsening disease from the beginning, but with clear attacks of worsening neurologic function along the way. They may or may not experience some recovery following these relapses, but the disease continues to progress without remissions.
Since no two people have exactly the same experience of MS, the disease course may look very different from one person to another. And, it may not always be clear to the physician—at least right away—which course a person is experiencing.

We call upon all families everywhere to put family first and to identify specific ways to strengthen their individual families.
We are currently experiencing major thunder storms across America. And let us never forget the refugee centers in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas that where devastated and displaced victims of Hurricane Katrina were staying as they began to try to put their lives back together. Their stories and situations are tragic and poignant in many ways, but in all that I heard, what touched me the most was the crying out for family: “Where is my mother?” “I can’t find my son.” “I’ve lost a sister.” These were hungry, frightened people who had lost everything and needed food, medical attention, and help of all kinds, but what they wanted and needed most was their families.
Every person will need approximately 1 Gallon of Water per day!
BE SURE with a SURE WATER TANK
Crisis or transition of any kind reminds us of what matters most. In the routine of life, we often take our families—our parents and children and siblings—for granted. But in times of danger and need and change, there is no question that what we care about most is our families! It will be even more so when we die and leave this life. Surely the first people we will seek to find there in the spirit world will be father, mother, spouse, children, and siblings.
Is your life’s mission statement for mortality “to build an eternal family?”
Here on this earth we strive to become part of extended families with the ability to create and form our own part of those families. That is one of the reasons our Heavenly Father sent us here. Not everyone will find a companion and have a family in mortality, but everyone, regardless of individual circumstances, is a precious member of God’s family.
It was then and is now a clarion call to protect and strengthen families with a stern warning to the world where declining values and misplaced priorities threaten to destroy society by undermining its basic unit of society, the family.
Many of the very things that have threatened and undermined families during the last decade reminds us of the priority and the emphasis families need if they are to survive in an environment that seems ever more toxic to traditional marriage and to parent-child relationships.
The confused and convoluted notions of our society cannot even agree on a definition of family, let alone supply the help and support parents and families need such as these:
“Marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God.”
“Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose.”
“Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children.”
“Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity.”
“The disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets.”
The simple truth is that the family is “the fundamental unit of society.”
We call upon committed parents, grandparents, and extended family members everywhere to hold fast to the importance of The Family and to commit ourselves to live by God’s commandments and proven principles and precepts as we are all part of God’s family.
Public opinion surveys indicate that people everywhere in the world generally consider the family as the highest priority; yet in recent years the broader culture seems to ignore or misdefine the family. Consider some of the changes of the past decade:
Many larger national and international institutions that used to support and strengthen families now try to supplant and even sabotage the very families they were created to serve.
In the name of “tolerance,” the definition of family has been expanded beyond recognition to the point that “family” can be any individuals of any gender who live together with or without commitment or children or attention to consequence.
Rampant materialism and selfishness delude many into thinking that families, and especially children, are a burden and a financial millstone that will hold them back rather than a sacred privilege that will teach them to become more like God.
And yet most parents throughout the world continue to know both the importance and the joy that are attached to natural families. Suzanne and I have done much traveling and met friends, families, and parents on several continents and find that the hopes and concerns of parents are remarkably similar throughout the earth.
In India a concerned Hindu mother said, “All I want is to be a bigger influence on my children than the media and the peer group.” And a Buddhist mother in Malaysia said, “I’d like my boys to be able to operate in the world, but I don’t want them to be of the world.” Parents from all different cultures and faiths are saying and feeling the same things we are as parents of eight sons and twenty grandchildren.
The family is the basic unit of society, of the economy, of our culture, and of our government. And as Latter-day Saints, we know, the family will also be the basic unit in the celestial kingdom after this life.
As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, our belief in the overriding importance of families is rooted in restored doctrine. We know of the sanctity of families in both directions of our eternal existence. We know that before this life we lived with our Heavenly Father as part of His family, and we know that family relationships can endure beyond death.
We live and act upon this knowledge, and invite the world to join us. Parents who place a high priority on their families will gravitate to their Churches because it offers the family structure, values, doctrine, and eternal perspective that they seek and cannot find elsewhere.
Our family-centered perspective makes us Latter-day Saints strive to be the best parents in the world. It gives us enormous respect for our children, who truly are our spiritual siblings, and it causes us to devote whatever time is necessary to strengthen our families. Indeed, nothing is more critically connected to happiness—both our own and that of our children—than how well we love and support one another within the family.
We believe the Church is a crucial “scaffolding” that helps build the individual and the family. The Church is the kingdom of God on earth, but in the kingdom of heaven, families will be both the source of our eternal progress and joy and the order of our Heavenly Father. When we have completed this life, we will be released from our jobs and occupations but if we are worthy, we will never be released from our family relationships.
One of our past Prophets, Joseph F. Smith said: “There can be no genuine happiness separate and apart from the home, and every effort made to sanctify and preserve its influence is uplifting to those who toil and sacrifice for its establishment. Men and women often seek to substitute some other life for that of the home; they would make themselves believe that the home means restraint; that the highest liberty is the fullest opportunity to move about at will. There is no happiness without service, and there is no service greater than that which converts the home into a divine institution, and which promotes and preserves family life”. (Teachings of Presidents of theChurch: Joseph F. Smith [1998], 382).
Now, one may ask, How do we protect and preserve and strengthen our homes and families in a world pulling so hard in opposite directions? Let me make three simple suggestions:
Be consistent in holding daily family prayer and meet as a family weekly which will invite the Lord’s Spirit, and which provides the help and power we need as parents and family leaders. Read the scriptures and other good books and our Church magazines that have good ideas for things to do as a family. Also take the time to share spiritual stories and your testimonies together where parents and children can express their beliefs and feelings to each other in a private and personal setting.
Teach the gospel and basic values in your home. Establish a love for reading the scriptures together. Too many of our parents are abdicating this responsibility to the Church. While seminary, auxiliaries, and Sunday School meetings are important as a supplement to parental gospel instruction, the main responsibility rests in the home. You might want to choose one gospel subject or a family value and then watch for opportunities to teach it. Be wise and do not involve children or yourselves in so many activities out of the home that you are so busy that the Spirit of the Lord cannot be recognized or felt in giving you the promised guidance for yourself and your family.
Create meaningful family bonds that give your children an identity stronger than what they can find with their peer group or at school or anyplace else. This can be done through family traditions for birthdays, for holidays, for dinnertime, and for Sundays. It can also be done through family policies and rules with natural and well-understood consequences. Have a simple family economy where children have specific chores or household duties and receive praise or other rewards commensurate to how well they do. Teach them the importance of avoiding debt and of earning, saving, and wisely spending money. Help them learn responsibility for their own temporal and spiritual self-reliance.
In today’s world, where Satan’s aggression against the family is so prevalent, parents must do all they can to fortify and defend their families. But their efforts may not be enough. Our most basic institution of family desperately needs help and support from the extended family and the public institutions that surround us. Families, aunts and uncles, grandparents and cousins can make a powerful difference in the lives of children. Remember that the expression of love and encouragement from an extended family member will often provide the right influence and help a child at a critical time.
The Church itself will continue to be the first and foremost institution—the “scaffolding,” as it were—to help build strong families. The Church has great concern about the well-being of your families, and thus you will see increasing efforts to prioritize and to focus on family needs. Put family first and identify specific ways to strengthen you individual families.
Public institutions need to examine themselves and do less that might harm families and more that will help them.
The media must offer more that promotes traditional family values that is uplifting and supportive of families and less that popularizes immorality and materialism.
The government and political leaders need to put the needs of children and parents first and to think in terms of family impact in all legislation and policy making.
Internet providers and Web site creators need to become more responsible regarding their potential for influence and to adopt the conscious objective of protecting children from violence, pornography, filth, and sleaze.
Educational entities need to teach universal values and family and parenting skills, supporting parents in their responsibility to raise children to become the leaders of families in generations yet to come.
Church members need to reach out in love to neighbors and friends of other faiths and include them in the use of the many resources their Church has to help families. Our communities and neighborhoods will be safer and stronger as people of all faiths work together to strengthen families.
It is important to remember that all larger units of society depend on the smallest and most fundamental unit, the family. No matter who or what we are, we help ourselves when we help families.
We hold up like a banner the proclamation to the world on the family and as we live and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will fulfill the measure of our creation here on earth. We will find peace and happiness here and in the world to come. We should not need a hurricane or other crisis to remind us of what matters most. The gospel and the Lord’s plan of happiness and salvation should remind us. What matters most is what lasts longest, and our families are for eternity.
This has been an exciting and wonderful yet challenging year! Suzanne and I and the staff at TheFamily.com all wish to thank you for your support and involvement in helping to promote the cause of Strengthening The Family. We all are a part of God’s family and we appreciate your willingness to let us come into your homes.
We have great excitement for 2012 as we step forward with faith into this upcoming year knowing that we are living in the BEST and the WORST of times ever. How exciting to be alive today and experiencing the joys of family, marriage, children, and living your life in a loving home and sharing it together with those you love. These and great memories and are the only things that we keep forever and take with us when we graduate from this world. The Family is God’s Plan of Life and we should enjoy it together!
We have a Newsletter starting in January called Get NOI-Z (Noisy) and we hope that you will subscribe to it. We wish to share personal and direct ways to help “Turn The World Around” and become stronger Grandparents, Fathers, Mothers, Teenagers, Children, and Families that are actively engaged in making this world a better place to live. By learning and maintaining strong principles, values with integrity we as individuals and families can become as the people of Enoch who long ago were known as “the happiest people that ever lived”.
We try to reach out to everyone with our family messages as the Lord has told us in scripture, “But with some I am not well pleased, for they will not open their mouths, but they hide the talent which I have given unto them, because of the fear of man. Wo unto such, for mine anger is kindled against them.”D&C 60:2
It is TIME that we Stand Up, “Open our Mouths”, and speak out for the good in this world. We must open our arms and hearts to our neighbors and love them as ourselves. If we do this, we will be “Of One Heart” and “One Mind” and will turn this “NOIZ” world around and become a “ZION” people. . . ‘the happiest people that ever lived’! Moses 7: 18-19
We hope you will tell your family and friends about us and get them involved as well in ‘Strengthening The Family’. We publish this site to all people and families around the world and it costs money to continue. We do need your support to continue to bring it to you FREE. Please consider a generous donation of $25 or more (smaller donations are welcome) and join our “Get NOI-Z” Newsletter which is $10 annually.
Yes, I have spent much of the day working on a “TOOL” if you will, for the HEALTH of The Family.
You know that I have talked about doTERRA Essential Oils and have even put pictures of them on TheFamily.com site. It is because they REALLY WORK and can BLESS you and YOUR FAMILY as it has ours!
You may say, “Oh you’re just trying to sell us something.” OR, “They cost too much.” Or for those who have tried them, “How can I thank you enough for helping me get better health without any SIDE EFFECTS and actually for LESS COST!“
What I have been working on s an ESSENTIAL OIL USAGE GUIDE to show you which oils to use for certain HEALTH ISSUES! It is located on the home page of http://thefamily.com on the red stripe at the top of the page that says, “HEALTH“! If you go there, you will see an A to Z - ESSENTIAL OIL USER GUIDE with the A to Z listing below.
Now, think of a health issue that you have or someone in your family. CLICK on the first letter of that Health Issue and see if it is listed on the list. (This has the most common issues.) You will see the ISSUE listed and the Essential Oils that doTERRA suggests to TRY. You can use them all or just the first one listed. There is also a “USAGE” statement letting you know how to use them.
NOTE:These are the MOST PURE Essential Oils we have found. Watch the VIDEO to learn more. Oil companies are allowed to dilute their oils up to 50% and still label them as PURE! NOT doTERRA!
If you would like to TRY THEM, CLICK on the http://doterratory.com link and you will go to the site. You will need to SIGN IN, and give your PASSWORD. Click at top for OILS, OTHER PRODUCTS, or to LEARN MORE.
NOTE: If you like these oils and want to get them at WHOLESALE PRICES, CLICK on the SIGN UP/JOIN link at the bottom left and for a ONE TIME FEE of $35.00 to get you into the Team. You will get WHOLESALE PRICES as well as a way to earn REVENUE while you stay at home. You also will receive your OWN WEBSITE where you can share these with your friends and family and BENEFIT financially from it to where eventually you will get these oils for FREE!
These Oils will COST YOU LESS than waiting until morning when you’re sick, setting an appointment to see the DOCTOR, traveling to see him, then getting a PERSCRIPTION for some CHEMICAL PHARMACEUTICALS that can have SIDE EFFECTSbefore you are treating the health issue.
With doTERRA, you start the moment you feel something because you have them right AT HOME with you. It doesn’t take only a drop or two and they are so PURE that they won’t go RANCID or become DATED.
Suzanne and I have looked for THE WAY to help Strengthen The Family and we love how these PURE 100% Oils and products have helped us. My M.S. doctor asked me, “What are you doing?” You are supposed to be getting WORSE, NOT BETTER! I told him about these doTERRA products and he said, “KEEP DOING IT!”
.
Here are just some Health Issues that these oils can help resolve!
“Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices”Song. 4: 6, 14
“And behold, he said unto them: Behold, I give unto you a sign; for five years more cometh, and behold, then cometh the Son of God to redeem all those who shall believe on his name.
And behold, this will I give unto you for a sign at the time of his coming; for behold, there shall be great lights in heaven, insomuch that in the night before he cometh there shall be no darkness, insomuch that it shall appear unto man as if it was day.
Therefore, there shall be one day and a night and a day, as if it were one day and there were no night; and this shall be unto you for a sign; for ye shall know of the rising of the sun and also of its setting; therefore they shall know of a surety that there shall be two days and a night; nevertheless the night shall not be darkened; and it shall be the night before he is born.
And behold, there shall a newstar arise, such an one as ye never have beheld; and this also shall be a sign unto you.
And behold this is not all, there shall be many asigns and wonders in heaven. Hel. 14: 2-6

“And it came to pass that the words which came unto Nephi were fulfilled, according as they had been spoken; for behold, at the going down of the sun there wasno darkness; and the people began to be astonished because there was no darkness when the night came.
And there were many, who had not believed the words of the prophets, who fell to the earth and became as if they were dead, for they knew that the great plan of destruction which they had laid for those who believed in the words of the prophets had been frustrated; for the sign which had been given was already at hand.
And they began to know that the Son of God must shortly appear; yea, in fine, all the people upon the face of the whole earth from thewest to the east, both in the land north and in the land south, were so exceedingly astonished that they fell to the earth.
For they knew that the prophets had testified of these things for many years, and that the sign which had been given was already at hand; and they began to fear because of their iniquity and their unbelief.
And it came to pass that there was no darkness in all that night, but it was as light as though it was mid-day. And it came to pass that the sun did rise in the morning again, according to its proper order; and they knew that it was the day that the Lord should be born, because of the sign which had been given.
And it had come to pass, yea, all things, every whit, according to the words of the prophets.
And it came to pass also that a new star did appear, according to the word.” 3 Ne. 1: 15-21
