strengthining families

Thousands of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continue to volunteer to assist in the recovery efforts within these communities. On Sunday, November 11th, thousands of Mormons cancelled their church services and arrived by air, bus and train from all across the country to help.

You had a wonderful impact on many people on Sunday. I was driving past and noticed the people helping clean out the houses. I spent a few hours with one of your groups cleaning out a few people’s homes. It was well organized and the group had a list of homes in need. I am wondering how you assembled the list. I am planning on helping this Saturday down in the Rockaway’s but cannot find a group that has organized an effort. Please let me know and thanks for what you have done. You should all be very proud of your efforts.
Johnny, I fixed the link that goes to their website. It is: https://www.lds.org/topics/humanitarian-service/helping-hands
Hope you and others have a good time with Helping Hands!
