My Response:
It’s because we are at a critical time and path in our lives when the family is being attacked by wicked forces of evil. The family is central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children and we need leaders in government who stand up, protect, and defend the family. It is our God given right to choose those who will serve and lead truthfully and righteously and follow God’s commandments and His inspired and covenanted Constitution.
The Lord has told us, “But with some I am not well pleased, for they will not open their mouths, but they hide the talent which I have given unto them, because of the fear of man. Wo unto such, for mine anger is kindled against
them.” (D&C 60:2)
To fear God is to love God. I do not fear man but I fear that I may one day face my Creator and be asked why I didn’t open my mouth and stand up and speak out for truth and justice? This also includes who I vote for to lead our nation of families!
