A Trip Down Memory Lane
This is the promotion I did for the Osmond Studios back 20 plus years. I was Creative Director and we needed a new demo to go out to possible clients and production markets. The quality is very poor it was an old video tape that has set in my basement for years.
This is truly a trip down memory lane. I worked with the Osmonds shortly after the facility was built. Enjoy a piece of history. Those were great years!

I LOVED seeing this. Brought back many memories and was very interesting. I went by the old studios a couple of years ago. It was all vacant land and now it’s so built up I almost didn’t recognized the area! Thanks for sharing!
I saw the old studios last June when I was in Utah. I sure wish I could have toured the inside but that is not possible these days. Thanks for posting this Alan.
I’ve always thought the studio was super. When the Childrens Miracle Network telethon was there I used to volunteer and got to see a lot of the studio and the stars. It was all a buzz with activity.
I’ve had the fantasy that if I were ever to become a billionaire I would buy the studio, name it back to the George V Osmond studio, and open it up for tours and events. More land was available previously and I would have made a sort of Disneyland like Osmondland around the studio…
Oh well, we can dream.
I was going to comment before this went out but now that it has, this was a major dream for our family to accomplish. I wrote a long article for this that got deleted but I will share some day soon about the challenges of building this studio in UTah, having it dedicated by a Prophet of God, not knowing if stars would come up here all because we prayed for inspiration and felt it was the thing to do. Long story short, it was MOST successful! Our quality was noted by top technical peole as being “better than NBC, CBS, and ABC studios in Los Angeles. Our goals were met, we were in Utah and ment our wives and raised our children here. So much more could be said but it was a miracle that we were able to build it in time, get all of our local staff with experts to shadow direct them and to be as successful as we were! The good Lord was truly watching over us and helping us to make some great TV shows! Alan
Hi..watched the video. It was Good! Are you “still” using this buliding? Or is it taking down? OR????.
It would be a shame for not using it. Anyways it could Still be used for “something”!
Mike, the Osmond Studios served its purpose and was purchased by other people for good use. We were so pleased to be able to live in Utah and continue our Television careers and commitments. The STARS love it up here and used to “fight” for which dressing room, cabin, and starquarters they got to stay in. The shows wer the best and the TV network executives couldn’t believe the quality and good shows that they got from Orem, Utah!
Great people up here worked VERY HARD to make is successful. Grat neighbors and friends were made!
